PROFILE
Raelene Sharp began her career as a Graphic Artist in a Publishing House. She worked from ‘the ground up’ gaining experience in all areas of printing. Raelene works in three main mediums, oil, pastel and watercolour.
Raelene has received her share of prizes over the years including:
Artist of the Year 2000, 2001 and 2002 Ringwood Art Society.
Winner of a Seasonal Exhibition Australian Guild of Realist Artists Autumn 2002, Autumn 2003, Spring 2003 and Autumn 2006.
Runner-up Best in Show 2002 and 2003 Pastel Society of Victoria Annual Exhibition.
Featured in Australian Artist and International Artist Magazines.
Winner Australian Art Excellence Medallion Award 2003
Finalist in A.M.E. Bale Travel Grant 2003
Finalist in Shirley Hannan National Portrait Prize 2004, 2005, 2006 & 2008

Raelene lives in Melbourne's Yarra Valley with her husband and four children.
